As you may have guessed, I Hate Spyware!  Ever since my days of downloading and testing shareware while unknowingly loading my machine up with spyware I've hated it.  Now just surfing the Net or opening a file attachment is enough to get it.  I say enough is enough!

Chances are you've probably heard about spyware or been exposed to it.  If you've ever had your house broken into it you know what it feels like.  The problem is there is a lot of misinformation on on the Internet as to what spyware is and how to combat it. 

This guide will help you understand the spyware threat better and how to deal with it.  Unlike guides written for technical folks this is written in plain English so that the typical computer user can understand it.  It is organized into five chapters and the following sections:
